Dimitra Bouzouka (Shatomiya) is a visual storyteller based in Thessaloniki. Her involvement with images in all their forms began in adolescence and evolved through the synthesis and processing of personal experiences, relationships and situations. Her experience in the field of images includes photography for academic works, events, products and online stores, while she has collaborated in the jewelry industry as a photographer, model and art director, combining photographic creation with aesthetic editing and visual storytelling. Photographically, her interest focuses on people, whether when they are the center of attention or in authentic, unpretentious moments where they forget the presence of the lens. At the same time, she searches for the small details of a place that often go unnoticed, as well as the sense of vastness and silence when spaces remain empty.
